Presentation Guidelines

E-Poster Guidelines

At the outset we seek your full cooperation regarding time management of the conference. We are fully committed in this act.

General specifications
  • The E-poster will be displayed on standard 42”/50” (Diagonal) LCD
  • File format should be Power Point (.PPT)
  • Total size of the presentation should not be exceed more than 20 MB
  • Maximum number of slides per E-poster, should not be exceed more than 5 slide
  • All slides should be in landscape format (16:9 Ratio)
  • Animation/movies/sounds will not be supported; please submit in a static PPT format only
Design specifications
  • The E-poster needs to be created as per the example format attached
    1. Each slide title should be placed in a title placeholder
    2. The text should include (most likely as separate elements of the poster) Introduction, Aim, Methods, Results, Conclusion and Acknowledgements
  • The poster should be self explanatory. Text should be brief and well organized
  • It is suggested that font size of the text should be at least 26 to 36 point. The typeface chosen should be a simple and clear one
  • The correct font size depend greatly on the fonts used in the ppt and the thumb rule should be that if its visible well on the computer screen it shall be visible on the E-Poster Display Screen.
  • Color suggestions:
    1. When using light backgrounds (white, yellow, light blue) we suggest using dark fonts (black, navy blue, dark green)
    2. When using dark backgrounds (blue, purple) we suggest using light fonts (white, yellow, cyan)
    3. Avoid using red or green in any fonts or backgrounds as they are colors that are difficult to read
  • Illustrations/images/photographs used in the E-poster should be enlarged enough to show relevant details
Oral Presentation Guidelines

At the outset we seek your full cooperation regarding time management of the conference. We are fully committed in this act.
Time for the Presentation: The presenter has to finish the presentation in 6 minutes time, and then 2 minutes will be given for the question - Answer.
*After 5 minutes - You will get an alarm beep

  • Sorry, for this strict rule of the conference. Your cooperation will help us to achieve this objective.
  • All presenters should rehearse their presentations in advance to ensure compliance with the time allotted
  • All presentations have to be submitted in the preview room at least three Hours before the Session Starts and there is no provision of uploading slides or use of own laptop directly in the lecture theatre. Again we seek full cooperation from you. If any presenter has not loaded his/her presentation as stipulated above, he will forfeit his/her opportunity to present his/her paper.
  • All presentations should be made in MS Office Power Point.
  • Any Fonts and Animations and embedded videos if used which are not a part of the file should be included with the Presentation File and this should be specified to the Audio Visual in charge at the Preview Room well in advance.
  • Videos when included should be ideally in a VI or MPEG and if any other format is used, its code should be also be included and informed the audio visual people.
  • The medium of storage used by the presenter scan be Flash Drive, USBHDD. Also any deviation from this should be informed so that alternative arrangements can be made if possible.
  • We request all speakers to reach their respective Halls at least half an hour before the start of their presentation. There will be no delay in presentation. Please do not leave the hall till the session is over.
  • All MAC users are requested to kindly convert their existing presentations into MS-Power Point Format, alternatively MAC users unable to do the same should bring their presentation to the Preview Room Helpdesk one day in Advance to facilitate require format conversion.
  • For computer help, you are encouraged to use faculty area in the conference venue.
  • Laptops in the halls will be equipped with following software
    1. Microsoft Windows
    2. Microsoft Office
    3. Adobe Acrobat Reader (latest version)
    4. VLC Media Player (latest version)
  • Quick legibility check: In slide show mode, your text should be large enough to be easily readable 5 feet (1.5 meters) away from your computer screen (For text use clearly legible font of size 16-20)
  • Blue text on white background (or reverse) is better than black and white slides
  • Materials (text, pictures, tables, flowcharts etc) should be well spaced in each slide for easy readability
Important
  • All delegates are requested to send an e-poster presentation by mail to cezcon2023jaipur@gmail.com and also keep the e-poster presentation in Pendrive as a backup.
  • All E-posters will be displayed and presented at the venue
  • Conference Registration is mandatory to present the abstract
